Dr. Kazune Pax knew from the time she was 6 years old that she wanted to be a dentist and is passionate about making everyone’s dental experience something to look forward to, rather than dread. After graduating from Ohio State University College of Dentistry with her DDS and PhD, she relocated to Cincinnati to be near her fiancé who is in medical school. Having spent years studying the relationship between mothers’ oral health and its effect on their babies, Dr. Pax is always staying up to date on the latest practices for dental care to promote multigenerational health. She is a member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research. She is also conversationally fluent in Japanese! Nowadays she spends her free time planning a wedding, but also enjoys hiking/the outdoors, painting her nails, and tending her many herbs and succulents.

Dr. Marcia Irving-Ray has over 34 years of clinical and administrative experience in Community Health, Oral Health and Senior Level Health Care Administration. Before her current position, Dr Irving-Ray served as the Director of Dental Services at Equitas Health, overseeing the clinical/ direct patient care and administrative operations of the dental department in Dayton OH and Columbus OH, and providing direct patient care to patients living with HIV/ AIDS. Prior to joining Equitas Health, Dr. Irving-Ray was the President CEO of Neighborhood Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Cincinnati OH whose mission focused on caring for the underserved, uninsured and underinsured. She also served as the Dental Director, Chief Clinical Officer and Interim CEO prior to assuming the role of CEO in 2011. Dr Irving-Ray was also appointed Adjunct Professor for the College of Dentistry at the Ohio State University. Prior to moving to Neighborhood Health Care Inc., she served as a staff dentist at the Lincoln Heights Health Center, part of the Health Care Connection in Cincinnati OH. Before relocating to Ohio, she was the Dental Director of the Harlem United Community AIDS Center, where she started the dental department whose primary mission was to provide quality oral health services to people living with HIV/AIDS- the only such project in the city of New York at that time.
